A High-Throughput SPR-Based Array for Quantitative Profiling of Glycosaminoglycan–Protein Interactions
We are pleased to share a new publication from members of the GlycoWeb team, in collaboration with the Manchester Cell-Matrix Centre and Carterra.
The paper, “A High-Throughput SPR-Based Array for Quantitative Profiling of Glycosaminoglycan–Protein Interactions,” published in Proteoglycan Research, introduces a novel surface plasmon resonance (SPR)-based array for the rapid and quantitative analysis of glycosaminoglycan (GAG)–protein interactions.
The new method requires only small amounts of protein and enables researchers to compare binding interactions across multiple GAG species. This provides an efficient approach to investigating GAG–protein interactions and has potential applications across a wide range of biological research.
Within the GlycoWeb programme, the technology is being used to identify and select specific GAG-binding probes, supporting our research into the complex roles of GAGs in biological systems.
Congratulations to Tony Day, Douglas Dyer and all the researchers involved in this publication!
