The team assembled for this programme are applying a diverse set of approaches to address the fundamental gaps in knowledge on Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), using an ambitious multidisciplinary approach, integrating analyses at the transcriptional through to the multicellular level. Linking with international centres of excellence in Denmark and the USA, as well as a commercial partner expert in the application of virtual reality to data sharing and interrogation, we ensure that the team can work at the forefront of technological advances.

We are aiming to enhance our multi-disciplinary team - we now have most of our PDRAs in post (one more to be recruited later this year) but we will be recruiting PhDs (based at The University of Nottingham and The University of Liverpool) soon!
